Orangeville Pool Opening Services
A pool Opening consists of the following;
- Pump all water from cover, remove debris. (1 gallon of water weighs 10 lbs.)
- Drain water bags and remove cover
- Rinse off deck. Clean cover and water bags and fold for storage
- Replace drain plugs on filter, heater and pump (look for solar panels)
- Install backwash hose and pressure gauge
- Replace/return eyeballs
- Remove all plugs and gizzmos from skimmer
- Replace any deck equipment (ie. ladder/hand rails)
- Prime and start pump to insure no leaks and pump is working
- Fill pool. You may want to overfill to allow for backwashing after you vacuum
- Add Start-up chemicals
If customer is not home, leave a door knocker with date and time of departure.
Be prepared to answer the following questions when booking a pool opening;
- Name, address (with Fire # if RR#), phone #, Postal Code?
- Type of pool - Inground, Above Ground or Onground?
- Sanitizer - Chlorine, Bromine or Salt?
- Do you have a Nature 2 System?
- Do you have Solar Panels?
- Do you have water features and/or a spill over spa (extra charge)?
- Water - Do you want water trucked in or filled from Garden Hose?
- Where do you want winter supplies stored for the summer?
- Credit card #
- Email address to send confirmation of opening?
- Do you require a new Solar Blanket? If so, what size and shape?
- Do you wish to book a winter closing date at this time?
- Any other notes or services you may require?
